The motivation of going to the gym everyday

If not for the dedication of getting fit this week would have started off very different.

Sunday: I started the week super tired just coming back from work. I worked a 12.5 hour night shift in the ICU and I was burned. I wanted to hit my bed by 4am but I knew I was going to the gym even if it killed me. I felt tired yet motivated, my mind was made up.

Monday: The second day was better. I slept home Sunday night, and felt well rested for Monday morning workout. I worked on weightlifting and abs.

Tuesday: Cardio was the rhythm of the day. I did an hour on the treadmill.

Wednesday: I was feeling like a break come Wednesday  so I too the day to do some aqua aerobics. Water weights are actually a good work, and the water relaxes the muscles.

Thursday: I was feeling a little bootylicious on Thursday, can you blame me these tights scream booty. I did some full body workouts, and some squats.

Friday: I felt really unmotivated getting up on Friday morning. I usually work Thursday night but I slept home this Thursday and didn’t feel like getting up. I ended up being late and getting there a little after 8:30am, I met my coworker/gym buddy and it turned out to be the best workout of the week.

Saturday: Didn’t finish the week to strong but I definitely did something different. I wore a waist trainer to the gym for the first time. This also happened to be the third and real time I wore it. My ex helped me into it when I first bought it but wouldn’t stay in it for more than 5 minutes and it took us longer to get it on lol the second time I tired it on alone when I was unpacking from the move, I kinda figured out how to put it on but stayed in it less than 30 minutes. So this third try was the charm, I not only stayed in it for more than an hour, I was working out with it on.

This week was a success, I learned that even when I feel unmotivated just go. Walk on the treadmill or something but go. Maybe it turns out to be a day like Friday with the best workout of the week.

Love,
